We’re really excited to announce a new partnership with Spoke 'n' Sprocket for our Wednesday shop rides!

Kicking off this Wednesday, May 11, we’ll meet at the corner of Hudson and Hall St in Spotswood, bright and early at 6am and head down to Altona Beach and back.

It’s a casual, no drop ride, so we’ll all stay together.

This is Barry Walker and his John Beasley race bike he had custom made by @beasleycycles in Footscray, many decades ago. We did a mini restoration of the bike, keeping it’s original paint (including lug details & Barry’s name, all hand painted) with revived original and new components. We were able to get this back to him just before his 81st Birthday, what a legend!

Our mechanic Nate, rebuilding the maestro linkage on a Giant Anthem. An often overlooked area of a dual suspension mountain bike is the suspension linkage. Depending on the frame design it can incorporate dozens of small bearings that are quite susceptible to the elements. Left unmaintained they can lead to squeaks, rattles, play in the linkage and even damage to the frame.
